Password Generator

Password Generator

Generate strong, random passwords. The strength meter updates in real-time as you adjust options.

The password generator creates strong, random passwords that are difficult to crack. Customize the length (up to 64 characters) and choose which character sets to include: uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols.

A built-in strength meter scores every password from Weak to Strong based on length and character variety, so you always know how secure it is. An option to exclude ambiguous characters (like 0, O, I, and l) makes passwords easier to type on mobile.

There is also a PIN mode for generating numeric codes from 4 to 8 digits — perfect for phone locks and ATM-style pins. One click copies your password to the clipboard.

Frequently Asked Questions

How strong should a password be?
Use at least 12 characters with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. Longer passwords are exponentially harder to brute-force.
Is the generator secure?
Yes. All passwords are generated locally in your browser using JavaScript's random number generator. Nothing is transmitted or stored anywhere.
What are ambiguous characters?
Characters that look similar, like zero (0), the letter O, uppercase I, and lowercase l. Excluding them makes passwords easier to read and type.
